The L.O.S.S. CD is an 11 track audio CD curated by Ed Carter (Winter North Atlantic) from audio tracks made only with Open source software.
Three tracks were commissioned by Access Space and the other tracks were selected from an open submission. All the artists retain the rights to their own work and have released them under the Creative Commons 'Sampling Plus' license.
Mastered with open source software by Ron Parker at Mirror Image Stdios in Minneapolis, US the L.O.S.S. CD is completely 100% open source.
