A small festival of Audio Visual Livecoding programmed by Jim Prevett (Access Space, prevett & mcArthur) and Alex Mclean (Toplap, Lurk, slub) and hosted by Access Space. Livecoding is where computer programming becomes a performance, or "describing art while it is being made, in order to make it".
RedFrick(Frederik Olafsson), Julian Rohrhuber (and Powerbooks unplugged) and Yee-King were commissioned by Access Space to make / develop new work and / or working methods and these were presented at the festival.
The festival included:
- A superb combined workshop on SuperCollider and Fluxus run by Julian Rohrhuber and Dave Griffiths
- Headphone performances by RedFrick, Ross Bencina and more
- Presentations and / or performances by: Yee-King, Andrew Sorensen, Julian Rohrhuber, Alex Mclean, Alberto de Campo,Renate Wieser, Tom Hall, Thor Magnusson, Graham Coleman, Robert Atwood, slub, Dave Griffiths, Jan Kees van Campen and more
